I decided i needed some motivation to drop my extra 5 lbs i haven't been able to lose and finally fit into my jeans for the fall. So, i thought, why not involve my family and friends? Maybe if we all had someone to answer to or share ideas with it would be easier. Here is the deal. It starts next week, Monday September 1st and lasts for 8 weeks, end of October. What do you need?
1. A Goal - how much weight, inches you want to lose or accomplish
2. Get a notebook, a food journal, to write what you eat, drink and your feelings that day
2. An exercise plan- I will post a plan if you want to use it or if you have your own that is great too!
3. A diet plan- I will list menus for a general 1400 calorie plan. You can follow it word by word, or use it as a guideline.
4. A Reward. Make yourself a reward so you have something to work for. When you reach your goal you can treat yourself. I was thinking shopping spree!
I thought it would be fun to comment and encourage each other on this blog! Any other ideas? I will post the exercise plan and diet plan within a few days. During the 8 weeks i will post exercise ideas or diet tips as well. Also, if anyone else wants to contribute that would be wonderful. I am excited and hope you join in the fun! It’s really hard to find good food down here. That’s my problem. Have any suggestions? Can’t wait to see all the plans. What’s your thought on protein shakes??? BJ does them and swears by them I am thinking of drinking them also.
I am so excited you are going to do this with me! I will put mostly foods you can get here in my diet plan. If you eat chicken, brown rice, veggies, fruit, beans, skim milk, multigrain cereals, etc. I think you can find most of that here. I put my thoughts on protein shakes up, there are pros and cons, you can decide if they are right for you!
I just finished my BFL Challenge but I want to keep it off so I will be continuing my journey with you guys! Yea!

Hi everyone! Meghan's mom is psyched and I am pretty proud of myself! I am following the eating plan, using the stair step machine and the ab crunch machine. It helps a lot knowing my girls and friends are in this together...keep good thoughts for me! Thanks

I like those exercises and wish you luck! Im a personal trainer and writer. I would also add in some exercises to strengthen your rotators cuff of your shoulder. Shoulder issues are common especially with bench presses and overhead presses. these should help. if you cant find them email me and I can give you some descriptions
external shoulder rotation
internal shoulder rotation
shoulder flexion
shoulder protraction
I also have some ideas on protein as well if you'd like.
